Oluwaseyi Isehunwa, MBChB, MPH, PhD is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard/MGH Center on Genomics, Vulnerable Populations, and Health Disparities. She holds a PhD in Health Systems and Policy from the University of Memphis and an MPH (Epidemiology and Maternal & Child Health) from Boston University. Her research interests include chronic disease, social determinants of health, and health disparities. Dr. Isehunwa has sought to characterize the burden of chronic diseases, demonstrate the persistence of disparities in cost related medication non-adherence among patients with chronic diseases, and evaluate how recent policies can improve health care. She has extensive experience working with the African immigrant community and with several faith-based organizations.
